I actually considered naming my newsletter Space Enthusiast. Space Fan, Space Maniac or Space Nerd sounds a little derogatory. Like an extremist. I own SpaceEnthusiast.com which is a little lengthy but probably the most used positive sounding name around for members of the community. Too popular sadly. Somebody already took the substack user address. Might still turn it into a website some day but running a serious news site is rather competitive nowadays. Paid the one off $50 au to substack yesterday to host UniverseTomorrow.com instead which is growing on me. I like the forward looking slant but google keeps asking if I mean Universe Today LOL. Just went to google and submitted it there. That might straighten it out. That and maybe writing a few thousand more articles.
Well said! Space is one of the few areas of science that is still accessible to anyone. All you need to be an astronomer are eyes and a clear sky!
